Her own words about what the book does
Quoted exactly, from her professional profile, because her framing is better than any paraphrase of ours:
“Super Agents Safety Squad is geared to make children feel empowered. Children will feel comfortable relating to the characters, Tony and Lily, and feel safe as Mrs. Grace help them navigate through the process of learning how to set boundaries for themselves. When the book is complete, they will even earn a badge and become official members of the Super Agents Safety Squad.”
The badge at the end is her mechanic, not a feature we invented, and the quote is reproduced with her wording intact. One thing we will not do with it: her site says a parents’ portal is being prepared. So this portfolio does not show one as existing.
Grown-ups come in one door. Reading together happens behind it.
These two entrances are deliberately separate. The caregiver door is for preparation, decisions and records. The read-together door only opens after a grown-up has confirmed they are present and ready, because this material should never meet a child alone.
I'm a caregiver
Start here if you are a parent, kinship carer, foster carer, guardian, teacher or counsellor. You will get the preparation before the pages: what this book teaches, what words it uses, what your child may ask afterwards, and what to do if your child tells you something hard.
- Read the caregiver preface first. Ten minutes, no child present.
- Choose your pace. One idea per sitting is a completely reasonable pace.
- Set your trusted adults. Three to five named grown-ups your child can go to.
- Know your route if a child discloses. Agent Now walks you through it calmly.
Read together
This door is closed until a grown-up confirms three things. It is not a password wall — it is a pause, so that a child never lands in body-safety content without a warm adult in the room.

Session open — grown-up present
Two child-facing rooms are unlocked for this session: the read-along chapters in Mission Safe and the four practice missions. The session closes when you leave the page. Nothing about this session is stored beyond your own device, and nothing identifies your child.
What is deliberately still closed: there is no child chat, no child profile, no sharing, no leaderboard and no upload. Those are not unbuilt features — they are refusals.
Five rooms, one squad
The book is the centre. Around it sit four rooms with different jobs: teaching, routing to help, equipping the adults, and the animated series. Every room carries an honest status chip.
What this living book can already do — and what is only specified
A living book should let you read, listen, watch, ask, practise, reflect, verify sources, join a safe event, and keep going after publication. Here is the honest state of all nine in this prototype.
Three questions asked of everything in this family
SOURCE: where did this come from? POWER: who holds the power here? PATH: what happens next? Every app tile above and every major record row inside these rooms carries a compact badge answering all three. The engine behind them reads records that exist, prints the query it ran underneath each answer, and returns NO RECORD — refused when there is nothing on file. No language model sits anywhere in that path, and because this platform serves minors, its query logs sweep at 30 days and no engagement-derived signal may enter an answer.
Child safety is the architecture, not a setting
Four of these are locked on and cannot be switched off by anyone, including the account holder. The other three are caregiver-adjustable in this prototype so you can see what changes. Try the toggles — the summary underneath updates.
Nothing ships until these eight lines carry evidence
This is a working gate surface, not a disclaimer. Each line names what must be cleared and the acceptance evidence that would close it. All eight start unchecked because all eight are genuinely open.
