Agent Now

A calm way for a grown-up to work out what kind of help is needed right now, and where to take it. Four situations, four different routes. This room does one job: it points you at the right adults and the right services, quickly and without panic.

What Agent Now never does

  • It never investigates. No screen here gathers evidence.
  • It never interrogates. No screen here asks a child what happened.
  • It never diagnoses. Nothing here assesses, scores or labels a child, a family or a person of concern.
  • It never replaces emergency or qualified services. It routes to them.

Agent Now is a signpost, not a service.

It is a routing tool for an adult. It holds no case, opens no file, makes no assessment and reaches no professional on your behalf. If a child is in immediate danger, stop reading and contact your local emergency services number now. If a child has told you something, your next call is to the child protection service or police non-emergency line where you live — not to this app, and not back to the child.

Triage

Which of these is closest to right now?

Pick the nearest one. If two feel true, always choose the higher one. Nothing you press here is recorded, reported or sent anywhere.

Resource slots — unverified

Real numbers go here, and only after verification

This prototype deliberately contains no phone numbers. Helpline numbers, intake lines and service names differ by country, state and even municipality, and a wrong number in a body-safety app is a genuine safeguarding failure. Each slot below must be filled with a verified local resource, re-verified on a fixed schedule, before any release.

SlotWhat must fill itVerification ownerState

Triple Lens on the disclosure route. SOURCE reads Unsupported because not one resource slot has been filled by a verified local service, and POWER is Not carried because a help route is not a deal. Ask a lens about this route.

Until every slot is verified and dated, Agent Now ships with the generic instruction only: contact your local emergency services number, then your local child protection service. Generic and correct beats specific and wrong.

If nothing changes

The grown-up's version of “tell until someone helps”

Children are taught to keep telling. Adults need the same instruction, because first reports are sometimes not acted on. Work down this ladder, keeping a dated note at every rung.
