Mission Safe

Read it, listen to it, then practise it. Five short chapters in the book's voice, four missions a child can actually complete, a Trusted Adult Plan you print and stick on the fridge, and the words to use when saying no is hard.

Read & listen

The read-along reader

Five chapters, one idea each. Switch between Read mode and Listen mode at any time. Listen mode is a specified narration: no audio file exists, so the prototype advances the highlight and the transcript in step, with real play and pause controls that keep working in Minimal motion mode.

Transcript

Always visible, whether or not narration is playing. Captions and a transcript ship with every voice element in this family.

Ambience: . No voice performance has been recorded or commissioned; voice approval is unchecked in the series pipeline.

Practice

Four missions

Each mission is a small, cheerful, entirely non-frightening thing to do together. Tick the steps as you go — the mission completes itself and earns a badge when every step is done. Nothing expires, nothing nags, and there is no streak to break.

Squad progress
Badges

Earned, never bought, never lost

Badges only appear when the work behind them is actually done. They cannot be purchased, they never expire, and they are never shown to anyone outside this device — there is no public child profile.

Caregiver tool

Trusted Adult Plan

Add three to five grown-ups your child can go to, in order. A caregiver types this, not a child. First names and a relationship only — no addresses, no phone numbers, no photographs, nothing that would identify a child or a household if this card were ever seen by someone else.

My Trusted Adult Plan

If something feels not-okay, I tell until someone helps.

  1. No grown-ups added yet.

If the first grown-up is busy, I go to the next one. It is never my fault, and I am never in trouble for telling.

Boundary language

Phrase bank

Short sentences, small enough for a child to actually remember under pressure. Filter by situation, then rehearse two or three out loud in a silly voice — rehearsal in a calm moment is what makes them available in a tense one.
